GOLF
Pocono Farms boasts one of the finest golf courses in the Northeast. Our private membership setting offers lessons and league play for Men and Women, open play for members and tournaments. Residents who do not have a golf membership can still play golf at their leisure. For more information, call the Pro Shop at (570) 894-4435 x-111.
COMMUNITY/FITNESS CENTER
Our newest amenity, completed in 2010, is our community/fitness center which is located near the Clubhouse and Tennis courts on Lake Road. The fitness center is equipped with state-of-the art LifeFitness equipment, and an aerobic work-out room. Fees apply.
TENNIS
The courts, located on Lake Road, are available for use by members in good standing and their guests. The Tennis Pro holds lessons, clinics and tournaments. Fees apply.
LAKE
Our natural lake is open for swimming (under direction of lifeguards), boating and fishing. Even though Glacier Lake is located within Pocono Farms, all Pennsylvania Fishing and Boating regulations apply. Only rowboats and canoes with small electric motors are permitted, a valid badge must be displayed. Badges are available at the PFCCA Office. The lake is stocked annually with trout and bass. Valid fishing licenses are required and are available at Wal-Mart and Kmart, or on line at http://www.fish.state.pa.us/. Resident badges required.
POOL
Our heated Olympic sized pool is open from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day, unless otherwise posted. Swimming lessons are available and our younger members may participate on the Swim Team. Fees apply.
WINTER SPORTS
Snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, ice skating and sledding are popular winter activities permitted on selected areas. Please contact the Administration Office for more information.
CLUBHOUSE
Dances, Socials, Bingo, Mahjongg, Cards and Crafts are popular throughout the year. All activities are published monthly in our Community Newspaper, “The Weathervane” or on line at http://www.poconofarms.com/. All members in good standing will be issued a log-in code. Contact the Administrative office for additional information.
WOMAN’S CLUB
Meets every second Wednesday of the month for lunch at a place chosen by the hostesses of the month. All members will be contacted by phone a week before the luncheon date.
CHILDREN’S PROGRAMS
MOMMY & ME meets every Tuesday and Friday, from 10:30am to 12:00pm. AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00pm to 6:00pm from September thru June.
